I thank SEPTA for introducing hybrid electric buses

I thank SEPTA for introducing 32 new diesel/electric 40-foot low floor hybrids into the fleet which are ADA compliant and have a front door wheelchair ramp. How soon might we move to all rechargeable electric, plugging the buses in during off-time, drawing on alternative wind or solar energy?

I thank all  for appearing in Fractals the Movie and, in particular, I thank Bobby, Julian, and  Robert Lombard, Gail  and Katherine Koppman, Jude,  Melissa and Eileen Rudnick,  Stephen Feldman, and Emily and Frank Abrahams for their artistic contributions, too! OK, so it's taken me eighteen years to distribute this and in low-def, too but here it is.

I thank you Cindy Fitz, President of the J.S. Jenks Home and School for all the good work you do AND for asking me to prove that the jaguar you had printed by Heritage Spiritwear gym clothes for our kids whose teams are the JAGUARS is actually a CHEETAH.

This led to a family discussion of how different these animals really are, from body structure, patterning, the continents they live on and their hunting method. The long legged cheetah on the t shirts etc is in beautiful flight chasing down its prey, more doglike than catlike. This information can be found elsewhere but a brief comparison which appears to be rather accurate on the web is here.

Why does this matter? It matters because it is a classic case of how  misinformation is perpetuated. Perhaps the person who mislabeled the picture you grabbed through a link off the Heritage website learned of their mistake but did not think it important enough to correct.... Let's be different. Let's fight misinformation!

I thank you Darrell of the Mount Airy Acme for our chat today and allowing me to hand out post-its with my campaign information outside the Acme today and for letting me know that our encounter earlier this year was followed by a two page letter from your company president with instructions about dealing with people soliciting outside Acme stores. I was surprised to hear that it wasn't you who called the police when I was collecting petition signatures. very glad to see you were wearing your name tag, which you weren't last time. I look forward to continuning discussing with you the First Amendment to the constitution which  gives greater  protection  to poltical speech than commercial speech. And thanks for offering to host  my daughter's girl  scout troop at the store when they'll be selling girl scout  cookies next winter, early spring.
