I failed to get the backing of the Green Party of Philadelphia for my candidacy and so was labeled "Independent" by the news media and have now decided to make if official. I have changed my registration from Green to no affiliaton. (The number of Independents in the 8th Council District outnumber registered Greens by a ratio of 4 to 1)
